Same-day pregnancy confirmation certificate, required to confirm your expected delivery date and current gestation.

Availability: UK ONLY

Availability: Deliverable Immediately

Pregnancy confirmation and estimated delivery date

If you are pregnant and require confirmation of pregnancy along with an estimated delivery date, our team of doctors are here to assist. We can provide confirmation of a viable pregnancy following your first ultrasound scan, typically performed around the 12-week mark. This confirmation may be necessary for notifying your employer, updating insurance details, or meeting travel requirements.

Our doctors offer same-day medical certificates that include your last menstrual period, estimated delivery date, and the number of weeks into your pregnancy.

Please note that the UK Maternity Certificate (Form MAT B1) can only be issued starting 20 weeks before your expected delivery date. This form is provided free of charge by your midwife or GP if you are having your baby in the UK.

No appointment is necessary—simply apply online for fast and convenient service.

Pregnant women and legal rights

Pregnant employees in the UK are entitled to several legal rights designed to protect their health, well-being, and employment status during pregnancy. These rights include:

  • Paid Time Off for Antenatal Care: Employees are entitled to paid time off for antenatal appointments recommended by a doctor, nurse, or midwife. This encompasses medical examinations and, if advised, parenting or relaxation classes.
  • Maternity Leave and Pay: Eligible employees can take up to 52 weeks of maternity leave, with statutory maternity pay available for up to 39 weeks, subject to certain conditions.
  • Protection Against Unfair Treatment and Discrimination: The Equality Act 2010 safeguards pregnant employees from unfair treatment, discrimination, or dismissal due to pregnancy or maternity-related reasons.
  • Health and Safety Considerations: Employers are required to assess workplace risks to pregnant employees and make necessary adjustments to ensure a safe working environment.

Obtaining a pregnancy confirmation certificate can be beneficial in several ways:

  • Proof of Pregnancy: The certificate serves as official documentation of pregnancy, which is essential when notifying your employer to access maternity rights and protections.
  • Facilitating Workplace Adjustments: With formal confirmation, employers can more effectively implement necessary health and safety measures and provide appropriate accommodations.
  • Access to Antenatal Care: The certificate may be helpful to schedule antenatal appointments and classes, ensuring you receive comprehensive prenatal care.

By securing a pregnancy confirmation certificate, you can ensure that your legal rights are upheld and that you receive the support and accommodations necessary for a healthy and safe pregnancy.

Please note: ZoomDoc Health can not complete the additional MatB1 form. This is only provided after 20 weeks by NHS maternity services or your regular GP.
